The platform's evolution was shaped by extensive field research conducted throughout 2022 and 2023, during which Abdullah Haydar visited and interviewed Hifth schools across Johannesburg and Cape Town, ranging from small establishments to large institutions. This thorough investigation revealed crucial insights about schools' diverse needs and their valid concerns about technology potentially disrupting the traditional learning environment. Armed with these valuable insights QuranBook underwent a significant redesign to create a system that truly serves the Hifth community's unique requirements.
